GARDEN OF IMMIGRANTS

A short film about my parents and the ways they’ve created a beautiful world through their garden. Shot at home in Oklahoma during the global pandemic.

As immigrants in America, they’ve built a life for themselves and their family on their own terms. At the same time, they’ve cultivated a space of natural wonder that moves with the planet. So much of their struggle, hard work, and dedication is reflected in the ways they till the soil, plant seeds, and nurture the earth. Their labors of love have forged wonder and abundance that has transformed the world.

I’m proud of my parents and inspired of all the ways they’ve made my life better and more beautiful.

The garden exists because they got their hands dirty. The roots they’ve set are infinite.
